Owned by Dan Polizzi, a graduate of Indiana University’s School of Music and a guitarist with more than 20 years of playing experience and over a dozen years of teaching experience, the studio offers private lessons designed to be straightforward, easy to follow, and effective for students from beginning through advanced levels. Lessons are available in 30, 45, or 60 minute formats, and teachers include music degree holders. Instruction covers a wide range of styles and approaches, including acoustic and electric guitar (from strumming and fingerpicking to singersongwriter, classical, Celtic, Spanish, and Flamenco styles), blues, rock, folk, and more. Bass guitar instruction is offered from beginning to intermediate, with drums and percussion available from beginning to advanced. The studio also supports a broad instrument lineup, including piano, voice, violin, viola, cello, banjo, mandolin, mandola, and ukulele. A fun, encouraging learning environment is part of the studio’s culture, and Dan has held a student recital every fall since 2004.
